Anelisa Mkatshane is a Grants Management Officer in the LRC’s National Office. Anelisa Mkatshane a holds an Undergraduate degree in International Relations, French and Political Studies from the University of Witwatersrand, a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from University of South Africa (UNISA) and is currently completing her Postgraduate Degree in Development Studies at UNISA. She is a development practitioner having previously worked at the Embassy of Japan, Africa Health Placement and SEAD Consulting. In her current role, as a Grant Management Officer at the Legal Resources Centre, based in the National office, she focuses on Equality and Non-Discrimination, Openness and Accountability, and has also worked on Community Access to Land as well as Environmental Justice. She has a passion for the promotion of human rights within marginalised communities, as illustrated by the various roles she has occupied. She continues to make meaningful contributions towards finding tangible solutions to the current developmental challenges within society.
