David Mtshali

David Mtshali is an attorney in the land programme. He is based in the LRC’s Johannesburg office. He holds an LLM Degree in Child Law from the University of Pretoria and an LLB Degree from North West University. experienced legal practitioner of the High Court with a demonstrated history of working in the human rights sector. He has been practising as an attorney for over three years focusing on land restitution, redistribution and security of tenure. Prior to joining the LRC, he worked for the Centre for Child Law (CCL) for three years as a candidate attorney and a legal support staff respectively. He has litigated in all levels of courts in South Africa including the Constitutional Court.
