Thabiso Mbhense

Thabiso Mbhense is an attorney in the LRC’s Durban Regional Office. Thabiso obtained his law degree from the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2001 and went on to complete his articles for a public interest law clinic. Since becoming an attorney, he gained experience in a number of areas of practice, such as civil litigation, criminal litigation, family law and land reform. It is the latter area of law that Thabiso has increasingly specialised in. He has appeared in the Magistrates Court, High Court, Land Claims Court, Labour Court and Supreme Court of Appeal.
